Gum Disease
Periodontal disease or “Gum Disease” is the primary cause of tooth loss after age 35. It is an inflammatory disease that attacks the gums as well as bone and any other supporting structures of the teeth. If caught in early stages, however, periodontal disease can be reversed with proper care.
